Medium- & Heavy-Duty Fleet Electrification Accelerator
Cut Operating Costs. Unlock Incentives. Electrify Your Fleet.
The Washington Zero-Emissions Incentive Program (WAZIP) is open! Make the most of it with the Medium- & Heavy-Duty Fleet Electrification Accelerator.
Join a cohort of peers tapping into 12 weeks of expert guidance and hands-on support. At the end, you’ll graduate with a customized electrification plan for your MHD fleet and a strategy for securing WAZIP incentives before they’re gone.
The upcoming Accelerator cohort will run from September – December, 2026. Fill out an interest form today to stay in the loop.
What You’ll Get in the Accelerator
Over 12 weeks of virtual and in-person sessions, your team will work alongside fleet operators from across Washington and a team of experts to:
Understand your total cost of ownership. We'll help you run the numbers on fuel savings, maintenance reductions, and available incentives so you can make the business case internally.
Build a fleet electrification plan. You'll leave with a real, actionable roadmap tailored to your vehicles, routes, and operational needs—not just a generic framework. You’ll develop your plan with 1:1 support from an electrification coach.
Navigate WAZIP from application to voucher. Our team walks you through eligibility requirements, vehicle selection, documentation, and the steps to successfully secure program funding.
Learn directly from electrification experts. Our sessions are taught by industry leaders, government agencies, and experienced fleet managers—and you’ll get directly connected with utilities to help you get a head start on infrastructure planning and identifying local incentives.
Learn from peers doing the same work. The cohort model means you're not figuring this out alone. Participants consistently tell us that the peer learning is as valuable as the expert sessions.
Get behind the wheel. Our in-person session includes a ride-and-drive so you can explore what models will be a fit for your operation.

What is WAZIP?
The Washington Zero-Emission Incentive Program (WAZIP) helps businesses and commercial fleets save money when they buy or lease cleaner vehicles and equipment. WAZIP offers point-of-sale vouchers that lower the upfront cost of eligible zero-emission on-road vehicles and off-road equipment. Purchasers can choose from a catalog of approved models and work directly with WAZIP-approved dealers to complete their purchases.
Funding is limited, and bringing zero-emission technology into your fleet can be daunting. BBC's Medium- & Heavy-Duty Fleet Electrification Accelerator helps you build an actionable electrification plan to leverage the full cost-savings of zero-emission technology.

Why BBC?
Through our fleet electrification programs, Breaking Barriers Collaborative has helped dozens of Pacific Northwest organizations build credible fleet electrification plans. We've designed this program specifically around the real operational challenges medium- and heavy-duty operators face: vehicle availability, range, charging infrastructure, upfront cost, and making the case to leadership.
Breaking Barriers Collaborative’s fleet electrification programs have been endorsed by over 95% of our graduates: from those with small fleets like the Seattle Aquarium to larger fleets like Boeing and Skanska. We’ve helped over 80 businesses and organizations learn and plan to electrify their fleets—encompassing over 30,000 vehicles.
We don't just talk about electrification. We help you do it.
