Medium- & Heavy-Duty Fleet Electrification Accelerator
Cut Operating Costs. Access Incentives. Electrify Your Fleet.
The Washington Zero-Emissions Incentive Program (WAZIP) is open! Make the most of it with the Medium- & Heavy-Duty Fleet Electrification Accelerator.
This cohort-based program gives you the expert guidance, peer support, and hands-on tools to build a fleet electrification plan and position your business to secure WAZIP incentives before they're gone.
The upcoming Accelerator cohort will run from September – December, 2026. Fill out an interest form today to stay in the loop.
What You’ll Get in the Accelerator
Over 12 weeks of virtual and in-person sessions, your team will work alongside fleet operators from across Washington and a team of experts to:
Understand your total cost of ownership. We'll help you run the numbers on fuel savings, maintenance reductions, and available incentives so you can make the business case internally.
Build a fleet electrification plan. You'll leave with a real, actionable roadmap tailored to your vehicles, routes, and operational needs—not just a generic framework.
Navigate WAZIP from application to voucher. Our team walks you through eligibility requirements, vehicle selection, documentation, and the steps to successfully secure program funding.
Connect with electrification experts. Learn directly from industry experts, including utilities, government agencies, and experienced fleet managers who have already made the transition.
Learn from peers doing the same work. The cohort model means you're not figuring this out alone. Participants consistently tell us that the peer learning is as valuable as the expert sessions.

What is WAZIP?
The Washington Zero-Emission Incentive Program (WAZIP) helps businesses and commercial fleets save money when they buy or lease cleaner vehicles and equipment. WAZIP offers point of sale vouchers that lower the upfront cost of eligible zero-emission on-road vehicles and off-road equipment. Purchasers can choose from a catalog of approved models and work directly with participating sellers to complete their purchase.
Funding is limited, and organizations with a solid electrification plan are best positioned to secure it. That's exactly what BBC's Medium- & Heavy-Duty Accelerator helps you build.

Why BBC?
Through our fleet electrification programs, Breaking Barriers Collaborative has helped dozens of Pacific Northwest organizations build credible fleet electrification plans. We've designed this program specifically around the real operational challenges medium- and heavy-duty operators face: vehicle availability, range, charging infrastructure, upfront cost, and making the case to leadership.
We don't just talk about electrification. We help you do it.
